In retirement what better activity than try and capture the world around us in pictures. By drawing and painting. I have copied many Impressionists, which I love. Degas, Monet, Van Gogh and Turner. And created my own originals in similar styles. My home in Shropshire, England has such fantastic landscapes. And pastels are brilliant as a tool to show natures colours. Besides landscapes, I have also enjoyed doing drawings of family pets, and other animals. Here are a few of my recent creations! Some are soft pastel on paper or pastelmat, some acrylic paint on canvas or Hard board.
